Privacy Policy Newsletter

(pursuant to art. 13 of Decree Law n. 196/2003)

Pursuant to Article 13 of Decree Law n. 196 of 30th June, 2003 ( 'Privacy Code'), Generalcom S.p.A. ( 'Generalcom'), in its capacity as Data controller, hereby informs Customers that any personal data provided ( 'Data') through the completion of the form on the website page [] available at the address http://www.salvagente.com (the 'Site') will be processed in compliance with the aforementioned legislation and according to the criteria described below.

Purpose of data collection

The purpose of the processing of data communicated by Customers to Generalcom is: the provision of the newsletter service.

Data communication

The Data shall not be disclosed to the public and may be transmitted, exclusively for the aforementioned purposes, to the categories of subjects listed below based in the European Union:

  • individuals, companies or professional associations or firms carrying out assistance and consultancy services to Generalcom, specifically (but not limited to) any accounting, administrative, legal, tax-related and financial issues;
  • individuals whose right to access the Data is recognized by statutory provisions and/or secondary legislation.
  • Domenico Boffi with registered office in Milan (MI) Via Piermarini, 8, Tax Code BFFDNC64D01L2019D and VAT n.13080120159, in its capacity as External data processor, appointed under article 29 of the Privacy Code, for the processing of Data with reference to the technical management of the Site.
  • In addition, the Data may become known to the in-house staff of Generalcom's, in its capacity as Data processor, having been put in charge by Generalcom of the execution of certain processing operations related and instrumental to the management of the newsletter service, or while executing maintenance activities of the technological part of the Site.

Data processing and storage methods

Data processing is carried out using automated tools (for ex. electronic procedures and support systems) and/or manually (for ex. on paper) for the time which is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes set out in paragraph 1) above and, in any event, in compliance with the relative laws and regulations in force. In order to prevent any loss, or any illegal or incorrect use of and unauthorized access to the Data, specific security measures are observed, in compliance with the law. Generalcom, Domenico Boffi and ContactLab have taken all security measures provided for by the applicable law to minimize any risks concerning the privacy, availability and integrity of any collected and processed personal data. The Data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer offences to the detriment of the Site. Generalcom reviews its policies regarding privacy and security periodically and, where appropriate, reviews them in accordance with any regulatory or corporate changes, or any changes arising from technological evolution. In the event of any such change being implemented in the policy, the new version will be published on the Site.

Nature of data provision

Failure to provide such data will result in Customers not being able to make free use of the Newsletter Services provided by Generalcom. Such consent may be subsequently revoked at any time, and the possibility to use the Services in question will consequently lapse.

Data controller

Generalcom S.p.A., with registered office in Via Compagnoni n. 1, 20129 - Milano (MI), VAT n. 03942650155, in the person of its pro-tempore legal representative is the Personal data controller.

Data subject's rights

The users to whom the Data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data and to know the content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration, updating, or correction (art. 7 of Decree Law n. 196 of 30th June 2003). In accordance with the above-mentioned article, users have the right to request the deletion, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of any data processed in breach of law and, in any event to refuse its processing for legitimate reasons.
